Ajmal Ameer is an Indian actor and former physician, who works in the Malayalam, Tamil, and Telugu film industries. He is known for his role as Vasanthan in political action thriller film Ko. He has won two Filmfare Awards South. Ajmal’s debut film wasPranayakalam, opposite Vimala Raman. This was followed by the Tamil film Anjathe, directed by Myshkin, in which he played an angry young man. The film became a high critical as well as commercial success, with Ajmal receiving several awards for his performance.
His Third film, he got to work with Superstar Mohanlal in Madambi, as Mohanlal’s younger brother. He also worked on a few important projects in Tamil and Malayalam. One was TN-07 AL4777, a remake of the Hindi film Taxi No. 9211. Ajmal played John Abraham’s role in the film
Ajmal was born in Aluva, Kerala on March 2, 1985. He studied medicine in National Pirogov Memorial Medical University in Vinnytsia, Ukraine, and had plans to open a hospital in future.
