Ameya Mathew (Chinchu Mathew) is an actress and model from Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala who has worked predominantly in Malayalam movie industry and who became famous after the huge success of the Malayalam web series “Karikku”. She started her career as a model and later turned into acting. Ameya was born in Trivandrum. Her father’s name is K. K. Mathew and her mother is Suja S. Thampi. In 2017, she made her first appearance in the film Aadu 2. Her role as Ameya in a video of Karikku YouTube Channel, made her popular among Malayalam audience.
Most of her modelling photo shoots are taken by OJ Films. She displays her dancing skills through TikTok videos. Ameya’s previous film to hit the theatres was The Priest in the year 2021.
