Anupama Prakash Kumar, professionally known as Anupama Kumar, is an Indian film actress, Television Actress, Television Producer, Television Presenter, Model, and Journalist who has primarily worked in the Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam film industries. She began her career with a Hindi debut film Kyun…! Ho Gaya Na (2004) and went on to play supporting roles in Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam films.
Anupama has appeared in more than 300 ad films. She had appeared in several Hindi languages television series such as ‘Kabhi Aaye Na Judaai’, ‘Mission Fateh’, ‘Shaka Laka Boom Boom’, and ‘The Magic Make-Up Box’ as well. She recently turned into a Producer with her indie black and white flick that is released in the summer of 2021. She won the Vijay Award 2013 for Best Actor in a Supporting Role (Female) for her role in “Muppozhudhum Un Karpanaigal.”
