Arjun Lal entered the Malayalam movie industry through Blessy’s Mohanlal starred Thanmathra. His hero debut was with Asha Black in 2014. Arjun Lal’s recent movie is Dear Friend which is a drama film directed by Vineeth Kumar, featuring Tovino Thomas and Darsana .
Arjun’s entry to film world was just co-incidence. He comes from a non-filmy background. He acted in Thanmatra just after the completion of his schooling. He attended its auditions while at Dubai and it was an acquaintance of Arjun, a cameraman of movies who told him about the film auditions for the movie Thanmatra. Arjun attended the auditions and was selected for the role of Mohanlal’s son. Getting a big break to Mollywood through a Mohanlal movie and after receiving a state award, however Arjun kept himself away from limelight and decided to complete his studies. Though he received many film offers, he didn’t accept any roles.
He later completed MBA and worked in Bangalore for 2 years.
