Ashwin Kumar Lakshmikanthan is an Indian film, and television actor, who predominantly works in Tamil and Telugu film productions. He began his career with his television debut on the Star Vijay serial, Office. He played the main lead roles in Star Vijay serials namely Rettai Vaal Kuruvi and Ninaikka Therintha Manamae, and supportive roles in the films such as O Kadhal Kanmani and Adithya Varma. He also appeared in the short films Blink, Cinderella, 3 Scenes of his love story, and Kadhal Ondru Kanden. He gained immense popularity after contesting in the 2021 reality programme Cooku with Comali 2, and The Times of India also named him as the “Most Desirable Man on Television 2020”, in its Chennai Times edition.
