Charu Asopa is an Indian television actress. She is known for portraying Atkhati Pari in the SAB TV series Baalveer and Preeti in the Star Plus series Mere Angne Mein and Piyali in the Star Bharat show Jiji Maa. Charu Asopa started her career as a model. Her first acting assignment was in a negative role in the TV serial ‘Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya Hi Kijo’ in 2009. She has worked in many TV commercials and print shoots. She appeared in a few films as well. She did a short film named ‘Yolk’. She is a foodie, but a fitness enthusiast at the same time. Charu Asopa has played Kho-Kho and Badminton at the state level when she was in school. She got engaged to her boyfriend and co-star Neeraj Malviya from ‘Mere Angane Mein’ in February 2017. But both call off the engagement in the month of November of the same year. Before coming into the field of acting, Charu wanted to become a choreographer. She decided to become an actress after winning the Miss Rajasthan beauty pageant.
