Darshan Raval is an Indian singer, composer, lyricist, and actor. His first on-screen appearance was in the reality show India’s Raw Star (2014). In the same year, he composed his first song, Pehli Mohabbat, which came out to be a big hit. He also has a musical band with the name ‘Dip Zip Band.’ Darshan never took training to learn how to play the guitar. He learned it by watching videos on YouTube. Raval got his first Bollywood break with the song “Jab Tum Chaho” in the film ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo,’ starring Salman Khan and Sonam Kapoor.
He has also penned down the lyrics of many songs like Meri Pehli Mohabbat, Ishq Chada Hai, Kevo Thayo Pagal Hoon, Ye Baarish, and Baarish Lete Aana. Darshan has sung songs in two languages- Hindi and Gujarati. In 2017, Darshan was listed as Ahmedabad Times Most Desirable Man. He has also performed live in various singing shows at various events and festivals. His recent album of Bhushan Kumar’s production, “Teri Aankhon Mein….” (2020) has become sensationally hit.
