Devi Nagavalli is a popular Indian TV anchor, journalist, and newsreader. Initially, she started working as a tutor in an institute after completing her graduation. She also worked as a faculty for a graphic designing course in an engineering college. Later, she auditioned for a TV channel as an anchor and got selected. She then joined TV9 as an anchor and journalist. Devi is well known for hosting the popular TV news show, ‘Weekend Live Discussions,’ based on celebrity interviews. Reportedly, she has received various threats and warnings for her blunt and straightforward questions while taking an interview. For TV9 news channel, as a ground reporter, she has also covered various national and international events, including Indonesia Tsunami and earthquake in 2018, the Pulwama attack in 2019, and bomb blasts at Columbo St. Anthony Church in Sri Lanka in 2019. In 2017, she was also featured as a reporter in a documentary on Amarnath Yatra. Recently, she has participated in the popular TV reality show, ‘Bigg Boss Telugu 4’ hosted by Akkineni Nagarjuna.
