Devoleena Bhattacharjee is a popular Indian television actress. She made her acting debut in 2011 with the TV serial “Sawaare Sabke Sapne Preeto” in which she played the role of ‘Baani.’ She is a well-trained Bharatanatyam dancer. Devoleena is best-known for portraying Gopi Modi in the Star Plus drama series ‘Saath Nibhaana Saathiya’. It was in 2012, she replaced Giaa Manek for the role of ‘Gopi’ which received huge popularity. She has also participated in reality shows like ‘Killer Karaoke Atka Toh Latkah’ (2014) and ‘Box Cricket League’ (2016). In 2019, she participated in Bigg Boss 13 as a contestant.

| Controversies | • In January 2015, Devoleena had a catfight with the television actress, Loveleen Kaur Sasan, who played the role of ‘Paridhi’ in the TV serial “Saath Nibhaana Saathiya.” Reportedly, she was insecure with Loveleen’s entrance in the show. |
