Dileep is an Indian film actor, producer and businessman who works in the Malayalam film industry. Dileep’s original name is Gopalakrishnan Padmanabhan Pillai, and he became popular for his slapstick comedy roles in Malayalam films. In a career spanning over a quarter-century, he has starred in more than 130 films. He started his acting career in 1991 by assisting director Kamal.
