Gurmeet Choudhary is an Indian actor and martial artist. He rose to popularity through his portrayal of Lord Rama in the 2008 TV Series, Ramayan, Geet – Hui Sabse Parayi and Punar Vivah. Gurmeet made his film debut with Fox Studio’s psychological thriller, Khamoshiyan. He got his first role in the TV serial ‘Yeh Meri Life Hai’ as Gurmeet in 2004. Because of his revealing eyes, he bagged the character of Lord Ram in NDTV Imagine’s TV serial ‘Ramayan’ (2008-2009). In 2009, Gurmeet along with his wife “Debina Bonnerjee” , participated in the reality TV show ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh.’ In 2013, they won the dance reality show ‘Nach Baliye Shriman v/s Shrimati.’ Simultaneously, in the same year, he, along with his wife, participated in another dance reality show ‘Nach Baliye Season 6’ where they ended up as the first runner-up. In 2014, Gurmeet participated in the reality game TV show ‘Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi Darr Ka Blockbuster Season 5’ where he became the first runner-up. In 2015, he took part in the reality TV show ‘I Can Do That.’
