Heeba Shah is an Indian film, theatre, and TV actor. She is also known as the daughter of veteran actor Naseeruddin Shah and his first wife, Parveen. After the divorce of her parents, her mother, the legal custodian, took Heeba to Iran. She spent her teenage days in Iran and came back to India after her mother’s demise. Following in her father’s footsteps, She started learning the art of acting and graduated from the National School of Drama. Being a theater artist, Heeba has acted in only a few Bollywood (Hinglish) films like Mango Scouffle (2002), Missed Call (2005), and Ravi goes to School (2007). Heeba is also said to be the niece of Surekha Sikri (sister of her mother), the actress who played the role of Daadisaa in Color’s sitcom Balika Vadhu. Because of Heeba’s resemblance to her aunt, she was chosen to play the role of young Daadisaa. The entire Shah clan, a family of 5, now acts together in many theatrical shows and are still doing well.
