Indira Krishnan is an Indian actress and a model from South-Indian origin. Before entering the entertainment industry, she was an air-hostess. She started her acting career in 1995. Her debut film was Suna Panjuri (1995). She has also worked in Tere Naam (2003) and Deadline: Sirf 24 Ghante (06). Krishnan is known for her role in the popular television show Afsar Bitiya. She will soon be seen in Hey Bro (2015). Although she has worked in several films like Tere Naam, Hey Bro, Team: The Force, she got fame with the role of Ganga in the TV show Afsar Bitya. She’s being often compared to the name ‘Nana Patekar’ by her colleagues as they feel that her acting is similar to him. She has also won the Best Actress Female TV award in the event Dadasaheb Phalke Excellence Awards 2016. Her dream is to work in a Sanjay Leela Bhansali film.
