Indu Thampi

Indu Thampi is an upcoming Malayalam actress who hails from Trivandrum. She was declared the Miss Kerala 2010. She was awarded the titles such as Miss Radiant, Miss Sensuality, and Miss Beautiful Eyes as well. It was actually a turning point in her life. She was called for the Malayalam movies “Anabella” and “Father’s Day”. Indu Thampy started her career as a model and ventured into the showbiz industry.

For large screen viewers she is ‘Neenu’ of “Father’s Day” and for small screen audience, she is “Pooja” of “Oru Penninte Katha”.

Indu is Diabetes I patient and as a child had to take insulin shots two times in a day. After becoming successful, she started using an insulin pump. As a result, Indu makes it a point to create awareness about Diabetes among her fans and shares her experience to eradicate myths attached to it.

Besides acting, she is fond of dancing, writing, singing, and painting. In fact, Indu has taken formal training in classical dance form. While studying in school and college, Indu had won several dance and singing competitions. She is also hoping for a singing opportunity to come her way. After entering the showbiz, Indu has become passionate about fitness as well and maintains a diet as well as goes to the gym regularly.
