Kamal Haasan is an Indian actor, dancer, film director, screenwriter, producer, playback singer, lyricist, and politician. Haasan started his acting career when he was just 4 years old and won the President’s Gold medal for his performance in his debut film Kalathur Kannamma. He works primarily in Tamil cinema. He has also worked in Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, Hindi, and Bengali films. He is the only Indian actor to get more than 18 Filmfare Awards and whose 7 films made an entry to Oscars. Haasan is a trained Bharatanatyam dancer. Haasan has also won 3 National Awards for best actor. Kamal is the only actor who has played 10 different roles, in the film Dasavathaaram. Currently, he is on a pen role in hosting Bigg Boss Tamil 4.
