Karate Kalyani

Karate Kalyani is an Indian character actor, comedian, television and film actress. She predominantly works in Tollywood and appeared in the Telugu films Chatrapathi and Mirapakay and some of the TV serials. She has also done some vamp characters in films. She has acted in various Telugu films, like ‘Maa Alludu Very Good’ (2003), ‘Chatrapathy’ (2004), ‘Krishna’ (2008), ‘Mirapakay’ (2011), ‘Yevade Subramanyam’ (2015), ‘Guntur Talkies’ (2016), ‘Goutham Nanda’ (2017), and ‘Raja the Great’ (2017). She also acted in some TV serials like ‘Goranta Deepam’ (2013), ‘Madhumasam’ (2019), and ‘Muthyala Muggu’ (2019). She is well-known for playing dark characters in various TV serials. Kalyani is a well-trained singer and performs at various stage shows. She is a black belt in Karate and has won many medals in Karate in Goa, Bhuvaneswar, and Chandigarh. To promote the unique art form, Hari Katha; a form of storytelling on religious themes, Kalyani founded ‘Sri Adibatla Sri Kala Peetam.’ She performed Harikatha (a form of storytelling) from 20 June 2015 to 25 June 2015, continuously for 114 hours 45 minutes and 55 seconds at Siddhartha Nagar Community Hall in Hyderabad. Her name was entered in the Limca Book of Records for achieving this feat. Shae has got many awards for her acting in Telugu films and TV serials. Recently, she participated in the famous TV reality show, ‘Bigg Boss Telugu 4’ in 2020.
