Karthick Naren

Karthick Naren is an Indian filmmaker, screenwriter, producer who works in Tamil cinema. Naren had directed several award-winning short films like Pradhi and Nirangal Moondru before his silver screen debut. He started off by directing short films and some of his award-winning short films include Nirangal Moondru and Pradhi. He finally made his silver screen debut as a writer and director of a movie acclaimed Tamil crime thriller film titled Dhuruvangal Pathinaaru in the year 2016. The film ran in theatre for over 100 days and was one of the highest-grossing Tamil films in that year. Post that, he directed a multi starrer film titled Naragasooran. He completed the shooting in just 41 days, but due to some reasons, the film hasn’t been released in theatres yet. He recently launched his upcoming film Mafia: Chapter 1’s trailer, which was well received. With just 3 films old, he has become one of the most sought-after directors in the Tamil film industry.
