Nia Sharma

Neha Sharma, known by her stage name Nia Sharma, is a Hindi actress who acts in the Indian television industry. She debuted in television with a supporting role on Kaali – Ek Agnipariksha in 2010. This was followed by another supporting role in the multi starrer Behenein in 2011.

Before stepping into acting, she wanted to pursue her career in journalism. Though her real name is “Neha”, she changed her on-screen name to “Nia;” because Neha sounded too common. She started her acting career in 2010 by playing the role of Anu in the TV serial ‘Kaali – Ek Agnipariksha.’ She is the first Indian TV actress to go bald onscreen for her role of Manvi Chaudhary in the TV serial ‘Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai.’ She had also gone through a 4 months skin treatment plan to overcome the acne and dark circles that she got after wearing make-up while shooting for serial, ‘Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai.’ She acted in a famous web series ‘Twisted Season 1 and 2’ in 2017 and 2018. She has been featured in various TV commercials like ‘Quco Hair Perfume’, ‘Sprite’, etc. She is a trained belly dancer. In 2017, Nia participated in the game reality TV show ‘Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi Season 8’ and was one of the finalists. She was also part of some other reality TV shows like ‘Comedy Nights Bachao Season 2’ (2016) and ‘Rasoi Ki Jung Mummyon Ke Sung’ (2017). Nia Sharma in ‘Comedy Nights Bachao Season 2’ (2016).
