Regina Cassandra is an Indian film actress and model who mainly works in Tamil and Telugu and Kannada films. She rose to fame with her debut film Kanda Naal Mudhal Latha (2005), where she played the role of “Latha”
She started anchoring when she was nine for Splash, a kids’ channel and then moved on to work in commercials. Her grandmother is an Anglo-Indian from Goa, and her grandfather was a Tamil Hindu. Her father hails from North India, whereas, her mother hails from Karnataka. In July 2018, her name started doing rounds in the media for being involved in a a U.S. sex racket. However, she refuted the allegations.
Regina was seen in the Kannada film Suryakaanti by director K. M. Chaitanya of Aa Dinagalu fame. The film won good reviews and performed moderately at the box office.
