Riyas Salim is an Indian social media influencer, who gained popularity after appearing in the reality TV show Bigg Boss (Malayalam season 4) as a contestant. The 24 year old came into limelight in the Malayalam entertainment circuit in 2020 via his TikTok videos. Later, he switched to Instagram reels after TikTok was banned in India. He is a feminist and advocates the rights of the LGBTQI community.
There are speculations regarding Riyas Salim’s sexuality as he is often labelled as gay by cyberbullies in the comments of the videos he uploads on his social media accounts. But while talking about his sexuality in a reel on Instagram, he said “So calling me a gay 1000 times is not gonna make me a gay. And I am also wondering what if somebody is gay how exactly is it gonna be your problem?”
Riyas has been taking tutions for school children during the Covid times and is very popular in his town.
