Rupali Ganguly

Rupali Ganguly is a popular Indian film and television actress and theatre artist. Born to the popular film director, Anil Ganguly, Rupali developed a great interest in acting at a very young age. At the age of 7, she bagged her first acting assignment with the film, Saaheb (1985). Later, she appeared as a child artist in her father’s film, “Balidan.” During her graduation, Rupali joined a local theatre group and started taking part in commercial plays. She made her TV debut in 2000 by playing the lead role in the TV serial, “Sukanya.” Later, she appeared in TV serials like “Dil Hai Ki Manta Nahi”,  “Zindagi…Teri Meri Kahani”, “Bhabhi,” “Kkavyanjali,” “Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii,” “Aapki Antara,” and “Parvarrish – Kuchh Khattee Kuchh Meethi.” Rupali earned fame after playing the role of ‘Dr. Simran’ in the TV serial, “Sanjivani.” She is also best known for playing the role of ‘Monisha Sarabhai’ in the TV serial, “Sarabhai vs Sarabhai.” She has also appeared as a contestant in many reality TV shows, like “Bigg Boss Season 1,” “Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 2,” and “Kitchen Champion 2.” She acted in films like “Angaara,” “Do Ankhen Barah Hath,” and “Satrangee Parachute.”In 2020, Rupali made a comeback to the Indian television with the TV serial, “Anupama” after a hiatus of around seven years.
