Sakshi Chopra is an Indian singer and songwriter. She studied at The True School of Music, which was India’s first music school. She then went to The Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute, California, USA. Sakshi is the great-granddaughter of the Ramayan director late Ramanand Sagar and the daughter of Meenakshi Sagar, director/producer of Sagar Production. Sakshi’s mother is Ramanand Sagar’s granddaughter, married to Sakshi’s father, Ajai Rai Madhan, who got divorced and came back home into the Sagar family again. Sakshi has taken her mother’s surname. Thus, Sakshi’s full name is – Sakshi Sagar Chopra. In her teenage, she became a sensation on social media. Her debut video on YouTube was a cover of ‘Feeling Good by Nina Simone.
