Sivakarthikeyan, also referred to as SK, is an Indian actor, playback singer, film producer, and television presenter who works predominantly in Tamil cinema. He began his career in television as a stand-up comedian and reality show personality on Star Vijay. He was one of the participants in the Tamil comedy reality show ‘Kalakka Povathu Yaaru?’ He also participated in various other dance reality shows, including ‘Jodi Number One’ Season 3, wherein he paired up with Aishwarya Prabhakar, and ‘Boys Vs Girls’ Seasons 1 & 2. He has even hosted several shows viz. ‘Jodi No.1’ Season 4 & Season 5, ‘Adhu Ithu Edhu’, ‘Airtel Super Singer Junior’, and ‘Boys vs. Girls.’ In addition, he also got the opportunity to host the special edition of a popular talk show ‘Koffee with Siva’ after the discontinuation of ‘Koffee with Anu’.

He got a breakthrough role in 2012 with the Tamil film ‘Marina’. He also appeared in numerous short films such as ‘Mugapputhagam’, ‘Identity’, ‘Kurahl 786’, & ‘360°.’ Apart from being an actor, he is also a singer and has sung numerous Tamil songs such as ‘Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam’ from the film ‘Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam’ (2013), ‘Royapuram Peter’ from the film ‘Maan Karate’, ‘I’m So Cool’ from the film ‘Kakki Sattai’, etc. Film producer Madan gifted him a brand new Audi Q7 after the Tamil film ‘Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam’ became a big hit at the box office.
