Vaishnavi Gowda is an Indian film and television actress, a model, and a anchor, who predominantly works in the South Indian film industry. She began her modeling career by doing various commercial advertisements for some of brands like, Muliya Jewellers, Ponds’ REYO sanitary napkins, Daniel Wellington, and Big Bazaar. Simultaneously, she was also offered the same portfolio during the audition for the role in the films and TV serials. Vaishnavi gained immense popularity through Kannada serial “Agnisakshi.” She has featured in various Kannada TV serials like ‘Punar Vivaha’ (2013), ‘Agnisakshi’ (2013), and ‘Mungaru Malay’ (2016), and also acted in the Kannada film ‘Girgitle’ in 2019, directed by Ravi Kiran. She has also walked the ramp in various fashion shows like India Kids Fashion Week. Vaishnavi received Kannada Telly Award for ‘Favourite Actress’ in Colors Kannada category in 2019. Recently, she participated as a contestant in the TV reality show ‘Bigg Boss Kannada 8’ in 2021, hosted by the famous South Indian actor Sudeep.
