The great Bollywood superstar took to share a post on twitter, about Gandhi Jayanti Day. On, this Bollywood actress, ‘Four more shots Please’ fame Sayani Gupta responded the tweet stating, to comment on Dalit and do not be silenced about it. She insisted him to speak up and share his thoughts on Gang-rape, community’s well-being and rights in the country. She asked him to ‘say something’ and do not be mum about it.

She tweeted: “Say something. The Right thing. Gandhi also taught us to speak up for the Truth, the downtrodden, the exploited, for our Dalit brothers and sisters. Don’t just shut your ears and eyes and mouths. @iamsrk”.

Sayani has come out in support of the victim by trying to voice out the truth and her concern regarding the current state of affairs on Twitter and expressed her lack of ‘hope’ in absence of stricter laws to deal with crimes against women. She also questioned the reasons behind the restrictions put in place previously barring media persons and Opposition party leaders from meeting the victim’s family members and asked why the victim had been locked in their house.

On the professional front, Sayani will next be seen in ‘Paglait’ which is her next Indian Hindi-language comedy-drama. The film is written, directed by Umesh Bist and produced by Ekta Kapoor, Shobha Kapoor and Guneet Monga.
